Not sure about this guy. He does genuinely want his students to learn the mateial. But, he tends to stray very easily from the subject because he likes to talk about himself. Quite possibly the most conceited man on the planet but a very good instructor. Very fair.

Mr. Mitchell is a very different teacher. He cares a lot and wants you to learn it, not just earn a grade. I would recommend him to anybody that has to take QDM. Best instuctor I have had a UHD so far.

I liked him. Smart guy and interesting. He expects alot from his students and is clear about that from the beginning. Do your homework and be sure to ask questions if you have any. If not, he'll trust that everyone understands. You will not be babied in this course!

I have also had him for both QDM and Cornerstone "A's". Most everything he teaches is put into perspective of where it is used in industry. This is an important class for your education. We are lucky to have a professor like Mitchell at our Univ

I've had him for QDM and Cornerstone. He has to be the most conceited man on the planet. The information that he shares is irrelevant to the subject matter. But other than that, he's rather easy. I made an A in both classes, much to his dismay. =)

The WORST professor I have had at UHD... Half of my class dropped after the first exam and he talks about himself ALL the time... I want an education, not a life story!!! I was stuck taking Cornerstone with him too and it was just as bad.

Mitchell is very clear about what he wants. The key to his class is keeping up with the Portfolios. If you pay attention, you will learn about yourself. I've learned more from him than any of my other classes last semester. I am taking him again for QDM.

I am probably the only one that liked the prof, but I learned a lot! I think most students rate him hard because he is hard, but I guarantee you will learn. If you show up to class, do the homework, work your group work, you will be fine.

syllabus is not 30 or 50pgs it is about 8 since it contains the schedule for the entire semester for his mw and tth classes. he is difficult. just do your homework and you should do fine. since the hw problems will be on the exam.
