Good professor has a lot of worldly experience. Huge chunk of your grade is for attending class. Three tests with the last one being mainly math based. Easy to talk to and ask for help. Brings in quest speakers that are vary knowledge able.

Everything you look for in a professor. Cares so much about his students. The material gets really hard at the end of the class, so if your class is struggling- Tell Him! He will make accommodations- like creating an extra study guide, or taking up a conference room during office hours to answer questions. Also, he is a super cool guy. Take him!

He is a great guy, caring and passionate, but its not completely clear what he wants you to learn. He does some just talking, then does some lecture slides and does a lot of work on the board. You have a few article reviews to write and 2 tests. There are extra credit opportunity. Hardest class I have ever taken though.

While the class is graded on a few things and really test heavy, he tells you what exactly will be on the test. There will be power points that he posts on canvas, so as long as you review those and you should be fine. He's actually a really sweet guy, and really cares about his students. Take him if you can! He is really good at teaching ECON 307.

Over 85% of final grade is based off of two tests. His lectures are so boring, you'll fall asleep in a heartbeat. He's a nice guy, but isn't the type of person that should be professor.

We were graded on three exams and in class participation. David is a good guy and invites guest speakers a few times over the quarter. He also has study guides that really confirm your knowledge on each chapter. Read the text book chapters before each test and you will do fine.

He is a really nice guy but he isn't the clearest on what we are supposed to know for the exams (which there are only two of). The first study sheet was a word document with chapter numbers listed. He is enthusiastic about the material and wants everyone to learn and get into it. He tries to fit a lot of stuff onto the white board so it gets messy.

One of the best professors I have ever had. He is a really nice guy and actually cares about his students. Extremely fair grader, gives lots of extra credit opportunities, and what he does on the board in class is exactly what is on tests. Take notes and go to class and you will get an A. The book isn't necessary. Really awesome guy!

He's so sweet. He wants to get to know his students. He does review problems at the beginning of class to remind everyone what we did last class, he definitely cares that you learn the material, but unfortunately he does underestimate student ability, but that makes the class easier. I really enjoyed his class.

Nelson offered an excellent class. It was very well organized and his use of graphics was very helpful. He modeled solid instruction, what effective teaching should be. I am not an Econ major, but I've had 3 other econ. classes and Nelson's instruction was better than most of the others I've had. After 400 quarter hours of classes, I have exp.

The guy is a fake. I was struggling in his class precisely because I actually wanted to learn something. He thinks we are stupid and didn't answer any of my questions. He makes you feel as if he cares about you when in fact he doesn't really give a damn when it matters. He should stay as a department chair and stay away from teaching, cuz he sucks!

He has a poor knowledge of student comprehension. He used an overhead slide for every single point he had to make and changed the slides before people could finish copying the ideas into their notes. He also is also very impersonal. He sometimes made me feel like I was wasting his time.
