Took his online class in 2008, horrible experience. He was not clear with what he expected and when I ask him to be more specific he assumed I just didn't do the reading. Clearly someone who should not be teaching. Always seemed busy and occupied with something else the 2 times we actually spoke.

The math in this course almost killed me! "PO" was a HUGE help... we talked on the phone at least ten times (and swapped dozens of e-mails). He was ready, willing, and able to help me (even though I was kind of dense!)... even on the weekend. He was great!

He doesn't seem to like teaching class. Responds to student questions in a condescending manner. Takes forever to grade assignments and get back to you. If he has an issue with your assignment, you won't know for weeks. I liked the class material, but I wouldn't take another class with him.

Prof Ortiz was great! Funny and smart and you can tell he really knows his stuff. Helpful when you have questions and responds fast, only problem is that he takes FOREVER to grade! School ended a month ago and I still have not received my final grade for the course.
