Insists on teaching in only one way: as out of the box as it gets, and rushing through material more than necessary. NO concreteness or clarity; I have so much trouble in the class not because of the material, but because of the one-sided teaching style. When I ask for help to get a grasp of what I need to work on, he doesn't help. Need. Clarity.

I can't BELIEVE Pacun doesn't have better reviews. He is WONDERFUL...crazy, but still wonderful. He is ALWAYS available for extra help and makes class enjoyable. Sometimes you need to relax for a bit and stop being so stuffy!

Dr. Pacun always made a point of making sure his students understood the material. His ways of explaining things are unconventional, and at least in my case, this helps me remember much easier. His use of pneumonic devices is impeccable and I am glad to have had him 3 times in my freshman year.

Good explanations, and the songs help to remember the rules, but sometimes the examples are convoluted and confusing. More than anything though, he is personable and willing to provide necessary extra help.
