I can't believe what I'm reading here. I took his graduate compiler class and assembler class about 10 years ago and learned a lot of valuable things that I've used in my career since then. I guess I couldn't be very enthusiastic about teaching any of the negative folks making stupid comments on here either.

I enjoyed his class! He's a very nice guy, and is very helpful if you approach him. Lectures are pretty bad, though... I get the feeling that he doesn't have a very good mastery of powerpoint, which limits his ability to put lectures together. Really, though... he's not nearly as bad as the others were saying. :)

Mr. Pager is not as bad as everyone thought. Probably the very first time being in his class is kinda weird but the thing is he is very helpful. If you ask him questions he will help you as much as he can.If other students go to his class regularly perhaps they can get to know him better rather than judging him because of his many quizzes.

If he didn't give a 'gazillion' quizzes, I would've missed his class more. He comes to class wishing he didn't have to. His course is just plain boring. Avoid if possible. Good luck if you can't!! BRING SOME PILLOWS to class!!

The absolute WORST professor imaginable. Never actually teaches whatever you're going to be tested on. Useless if you actually expect to LEARN in class. Cannot even provide outside sources to substitute for his lack of teaching interest/ability. Has no interest whatsoever in teaching anyone anything. Appears to be hungover or just generally exhausted and hateful every class. Stay FAR AWAY if you have any choice in the matter.
