Dave is a great teacher and is one of the best I've ever had! He grades and teaches everyone at their own level. He makes class enjoyable, while giving the students freedom to create what they want. If you get stumped he finds a way to work through it with you. If you show up to class and do your artist write ups it's cake.

I loved his class. Although I could hardly draw at all before taking his intro to drawing class, I had a great time learning from him and ended up with a great grade. Just do all of the drawings and TRY the extra credit. He is also extremely helpful and gives a ton of pointers, so don't hesitate to ask for help!

Shout out to Prochaska for being one of the realest teachers at Cuesta. He is challenging but patient, and gives you some interesting subject matter. Take beginning drawing even if you just need to satisfy your fine art credit, this class is so enriching and inspiring, regardless of your major. And he plays the raddest music!

Inspiring man. If you are going to take an art class at Cuesta, MAKE SURE to take one with Mr. Prochaska. He is a great artist, and good man. He basically inspires you, gives you free reign, and lets you work for the semester while blaring crazy ambient bluesy music.

I took P's drawing class for beginners just for kicks and he ended up being a bad ass! I love this guy. He's super weird in a really sexy way and a really awesome teacher. He teaches really good techniques I never thought of using in drawing. He's extremely helpful and hilarious. And unfortunatley married...
