Comment:

Needs a lot of improvement as a professor. Friendly, but does not cover pertinent material in class. Grades too easily, bad students got As. Grades extremely slowly. Gives same amount of credit for discussion posts with bad grammar, bad insight, and no references to readings. Nice guy with a lot of knowledge but as a professor just does not cut it.

If you are taking a class with Dr. Pugh, prepare to have no idea what is going on in the class. He will tell you he will post things online but will never do it. You will email him and he will never respond. I don't think i've ever had a worse professor. Tests are based on material you never learned. Does not care about his students. Terrible prof.

He's incredibly smart and knowledgeable. I, however, don't think he should be an online professor. I found the lecture notes and question assignments difficult to comprehend. Needs more clarity. Good luck to anyone who takes the course, YOU ARE GOING TO NEED IT.

May know his stuff, but terrible as an on-line instructor. Never set office hours, doesn't reply to emails or questions, never put up the lectures for access. Threatened expulsion if you complain about him not helping to anyone(since he never helps, you're totally on your own). It would be an interesting class with a prof who participated.
