I took as a core 1 class for artistic expression. I suggest not to even think about taking her ! SHE IS LEGIT THE WORST TEACHER EVER ! She is always late to class and then takes like 45 mins of the class to explain why she is late and her problems then gets mad at us for the class time wasted.. DO NOT TAKE HER FOr ANYTHING! test are horrible!

WORST PROFESSOR EVER, she needs to either retire or get fired I have not met a person that enjoys her as a teacher. She will fail you in the blink of an eye if you do not try. She has had a tiff time lately but still infinity and beyond/ 10 do not recommend to take if you wanna have an enjoyable semester

Expect a lot of out of class assignments. She makes you do homework assignments for every class period, and you never know which assignments she will collect. She is a very strict grader and a few comma errors can make you get a D. There is only 1 paper in the class, but she wastes your time in class. WORST TEACHER EVER. Hardest class I have

Worst class I've taken. The entire course was reading different variations of Cinderella, then typing an essay on Cinderella. She is very full of herself. I never missed class, but she said I missed many classes. She failed me in the end because my paper didn't meet some guidelines. Not that she ever taught any guidelines.

Arrived late to almost every class if she even showed up. She's very confusing and doesn't give you clear directions on how the class works. You will read only on book and spend the whole semester on it. In the end I learned a lot from her but the class was extremely confusing.

WORST. PROFESSOR. EVER. I had her my first semester at college and she made it miserable. We read one book the entire semester. Fight Club. The class should honestly be renamed to Fight Club 101. She gives TERRIBLE feedback. It's all illegible scribbles. She was so unclear that I went to the English Dept. head and reported how terrible she was.

She is a very nice professor but not a good one. On one of our papers if you made one mistake, even just misplacing a comma or one layout mistake, it was automatically grade as a D paper. However, she is very passionate and class can be fun. Just make sure you have a good reason for missing class.

She knows and is passionate about her subject. She is funny and open to criticism of her own views. However, it took her two months to give our midterms back. She changed a vocab quiz to a 250-point exam without warning. She adds in readings that aren't on the schedule on a whim. You must read and take notes on ALL the supplemental material.

Taking her ENG101 course was the worst decision of my life. If you planned to have any free time, boy were you wrong. She gives a ridiculous amount of busy work, most of which I found not necessary for the course. If you are thinking of taking her, don't. Take any other professor.

I love her as a person, shes very passionate about what she is teaching and that makes lectures very long but they always seem to go very quickly. But 90% of her assignments are either just busy work, extremely tedious or she forgets about. Also, these journal entries we are supposed to do feel like 4 pages papers that we get once a week.

Every person posting here that they loathed the class are absolute slackers, or freshmen. She expects actual work from you as an actual educator and an actual Fulbright scholar. Real is participation and work, which should be the standard. Love the class discussion; fresh and engaging. Emphasis on women's reading in any class you take with her.

If you miss one class you'll miss 10 assignments. Helped me a little but she was a confusing professor. It must be the "Kinch" way or it's wrong. Everything she made us do I felt like it was a 300 level class rather than an intro course. If you want to have free time, do not take her.

Dr. Kinch gets a lot of negative comments, but I absolutely loved taking her. My writing improved 200% because of her English 101 class. Its been exactly one year since I've had her, but without her influence, I would be lost. Since I am a history major, writing matters for me, and this woman saved me.

I can't believe that I had her in my life. She's a terrible woman in Edinboro. She would completely failed your semester no matter if you ever tried in her class. All her class just messed up because she doesn't know what to do everyday. Tell you the truth, if you saw her, be prepared for the rest of the speechless time.

Honestly, I think she is the worst professor I've ever had. I have a solid grade in there, but most of her homework is just tedious and almost pointless if you had any previous writing experience, yet she grades the tedious parts. So unorganized, and she overloads pointless homework that contributes nothing to your educational background.
