Very good teacher. The class overall is hard, but if you go to every class, take notes and do the practice problems you should get an A. Make sure you don't memorize b/c it won't help you.

Great teacher, if you want an A you need to be able to produce the methods of the practice sheets thats it. Don't worry about the book, just goto class and learn his method, at first irs weird but then its easy. No problem, really cool and very smart. He has most of the ksp's memorzied it seems. Have fun.

One of the very few teachers who actually care about making sure that the students learn. You can pretty much go to his office hours whenever you like and he's more than willing to help out. But, he has been in the game for a very long time and knows all the tricks (i.e. sob stories, etc). Just do the homework and come to all the classes and write

This professor has to be one of the best and the one of the most challenging chemistyr teacher. He teaches the materials very deeply and explains it very well. If people are confused, they can always visit his office for some clarification. I recommend this teacher for anyone in chemistry.

Not the best teacher in the world. the class is very hard and he makes his exams very hard. you have to study your ass off to do well. definitely picks favorites which get annoying. the lab is also killer with him. try to take someone else

Dr. Rorabacher was great this semester. He is nothing like what the ratings claim. He's very helpful and more than willing to help anyone who doesn't understand what's going on. Anyone who does poorly is just too lazy or stubborn to seek out his help. He's great...too bad he is retiring.

awsome teacher, helped out alot. To those who've complained about him only helping certain students, shut up!!! If you took the time to visit his office he would be more than pleased to help you. He is always available in office and goes above and beyond what is expected and what is done by most teachers. The most helpful teacher I have ever had.

Very tough professor-and does not teach things that you need to know for the exams. He only likes certain students in the class-and ignores the rest. I don't recommend anybody to take him. He could be rude sometimes too.

Ignore the comment insulting this great teacher. I had 1410 and analytical with Dr. Rorabacher and I must say that he is definitely the best teacher I have ever had. If he was teaching any more undergrad courses then I would take them. Tests are very fair and he could teach chemistry to a chimp.

Very nice guy. He really cares about his students. He always offered help to some people that didn't even ask for it. The exams, however, can get a bit hard. Also, there was never a curve for us throughout the whole semester.
