Dr. Sprunger is a great prof and truly cares about his students if they put time and effort in. He has a great sense of humor and keeps class interesting. It is mostly interactive and the readings are generally interesting. There are a quite a few papers to write, but he outlines his expectations well and keeps students on track. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Sprunger is one of my favorite professors . The class was Editing and Grammar for Professionals, a class that doesn't necessarily scream "fun." And yet, in my final semester of senior year, I found the class to be enjoyable. I learned so much, creating many fun memories. Also, Dr. Sprunger is so enthusiastic about grammar you will be too.

I did not like professor Sprunger at all. I felt as though he was always arguing with me and he teaches us stuff we learned in middle school. I also did not like the material we had to write papers on, they had no importance in the outside world.

If anyone can make the history of English interesting, it's Dr. Sprunger. Very funny, and knows how to make the class interesting. He easily maintains student attention and is open to any questions/comments. Easy to talk to, and always willing to make time to meet students. Really cares about his students, both during and after the class/semester.

David Sprunger is my favorite! He is unbeleivably smart and really knows what he's talking about and makes his classes challenging. He's awkward, but once you get to know him, it becomes an enduring quality that adds to his quirky sense of humor. He has always been willing to help me and is just really cares about his students. I love him!
