Comment:

Steele does not give many grade, so the tests are pretty important, but easy to pass. The class before the test he will review all of the material that we be tested. The final exam is cumulative, but focuses mostly on most recently covered material. He also gives a formula sheet and allows ANY notes to be written on them front and back! Take him!

He's a nice enough guy but his teaching style did NOT work for me. He expects you to read and pretty much understand the assigned textbook readings before coming to class, so his in-class explanations are usually minimal. I'd avoid this class if you're not a math-inclined person or if you're not comfortable teaching yourself most of the material.

Dr. Steele is awesome, knows Discrete Mathematics, and is very funny. He makes a lot of pop culture references and tells a joke almost every day. He makes Discrete Mathematics fun and easy.

Dr. Steele is a really intelligent man and is great and explaining difficult concepts in Calculus I. He will get distracted some times but it is just to ease the stress that may be lingering in the classroom. He tries to make calculus fun. I appreciate his effort. He cares that his student's perform well in the classroom!

super nice and fun teacher who really does make stats painless, even if you're not a math person. always willing to work with students, and though exams are tough, they are fair. his humor might be offensive sometimes to some, but he means well! I would recommend, one of the nicest profs in the math dept.

Dr. Steele is a great guy who loves his job. He cares for his students are wants everyone to pass with at least a C. I had him for calculus and he understands that it is a difficult subject and is willing to review a lot and go over homework. A little goofy at times but fun to be around and loves to take a break every so often to crack a joke.

Professor Steele is a great guy. He will explain material as many times as necessary to make sure everyone understands. He gives quizzes every week, but will answer questions and review beforehand. His tests aren't bad, as long as you make sure you understand the materia. A real joy to be around.

Dr. Steele is really funny & nice! He's a great teacher! I passed the class with a solid C, so needless to say I found Statistics difficult. But no complaints about this professor, he made it as painless as it could be! Tough grader though, hard midterm. Went to the Math Lab for free tutoring which helped me! Get cheaper txtbook from chegg website

Steele is the best, I am not a math person, but he's willing to stick around and get things done. He is alittle disorganized, and it's frustrating sometimes, but he really really cares about what he does, and is super patient, and non-judgemental. Just a really good guy!

I was dreading having to take statistics, however, Dr. Stele made the experience easy and painless. He is a really great professor and he is full of humor. If you don't mind a few cheesy jokes to be incorporated each class I'd definitely recommend taking him for stats. Should be an easy A.

Dr. Steele was a really great professor. He's super goofy and makes class entertaining. You need to come to class though to be able to keep up. I thought it was really easy but I just kind of get math. I would definitely take him again!

Dr. Steele is not a bad professor, but he is extremely confusing at least for me, anyway. He spends over half the class reviewing everyday and doesn't provide enough examples. Quizzes and tests are very difficult. Expects you to read the text-book and do a ridiculous amount of homework.

Mr. Steele, while VERY sweet and fun, SUCKS at explaining anything. He will throw insane jargen at you as if you spoke alien, and will go off on tangents, often spending the whole class period on 2 problems (if that). I had to teach myself how to do every section in the math lab before quizzes. **** THAT. Cool dude,****ty teacher.
