By no means a bad prof, though his teaching style is not to my taste. I cannot quite place it but his lecture style doesnt work for me where as every other math course at Dal I've taken hasnt had that problem. Having taken 6 math courses, this feels like a professor problem and not a material problem to me.

Seemed to genuinely care about engaging his students and his love for mathematics shows in his lectures. However, his lectures tend to be at times disorganized, and his examples can often turn into a mess. Despite this, he gave us every opportunity to practice the material and went over difficult problems with us. Terrible jokes though.

Best prof ever. He has no tolerance for people who don't understand, but that's because he's a brilliant man teaching a course that is ridiculously simple! If you go to the lectures and follow examples in the text to do your problem sets, you wil have no trouble with the class.

Milson is a horrible professor. His lectures are rushed, often not well prepared and often difficult to follow. It's obvious that teaching is just an inconvenience for him and he treats students with very little respect and in turn he gets very little back.

Prof Milson is a Genius, so I have heard. Definitely not a genius when it comes to teaching. Basically I sat in class and followed his teaching direcly from the text. I found this a fairly good way to learn though. Plus he makes mistakes copying from the text on a daily basis. I don't know what else to say???

5 years at Dal and he is the worst prof in any class I have taken. Seemed nice enough outside of class and seemed like he knew how to have a good time but the other comment is right, if you aren't a math or physics major, FORGET IT! He sucks at teaching! Don't believe me? Take the class and find out

The man cannot teach - takes examples directly from the text, and stil gets them mixed up. Knows the stuff, can't teach it to people who aren't math majors - expects you to be a math genius and somehow know everything already. If you can take Barger instead.

This dude sounds exactly like Derek Zoolander!! He's a good prof, although he doesn't seem prepared for class. He takes forever to find example questions in the text.

He doesn't answer questions, tells people to look it up, he has a real passion for math but not first year, this was my least favorite prof of my first year, he is a nice funny guy sometimes but other times he's a really unsensitive and mean, take barger!

Comment:
Hard to understand because of his Polish/Russian (I don't know which it is) accent; but takes into account, but not often, that some of the students have never taken a high school calculus course before.
