Dr. Stein is a really nice nerdy guy and his course is still challenging. You must memorize everything down to a T. He's not always very good at explaining things, but he appreciates participation. I actually learned a lot from his class, but like most classes for SLP's, it requires a lot of attention and effort.

Initially I was very worried when I realized that Dr. Stein had no notes for us & did not use any power points to supplement his teaching. Instead he used the CDRom that came with our text book, which was new for me. He is really funny & a big goofball in class, and is genuinely concerned about his students. The tests come straight from the book.

I hate the people that say Dr. Stein is unclear and unfair because he is a great guy with an extremely difficult subject to teach. He is so funny and friendly that it is hard to hate him. The class is a struggle, but he tries so hard to make it better for everyone.

one of the most uneffective i've ever had.really difficult to figure out what he's talking about.very unorganized.not considerate of your time.he is nice and will try to help, he's just not a good teacher.doesn't present material in a clear logical manner that you can understand. propacket not helpf

It helps to be a quick thinker and processor of information in his classes because he tends to talk fast. He does buzz around the room a bit. He is helpful when needed. The content of the class is harder just because of what it is but it's not too bad.
