This was the first professor who did not teach in a "formulaic" fashion. I was able to write as I liked. English isn't for everyone, but you have to realize that Dr. Stooke lets you express yourself!!

this professor was one of the worst i've ever had. He stands up and lectures about what he had for breakfast, what his dog did last night, and what totally unrelated book he read back in 1956. His tests have zero connection with any single word that comes out of his mouth and you write your hand off. Horrible, bitter old man.

I took this guy for 101 like 3 years ago but am still scarred for life. He was the worst teacher ever and having to go to his class made me want to jump off a bridge. I turned in three papers at the same time and he accidentally threw them all away so I failed.

The belt around his neck must be cutting off the oxygen to his brain. He actually walked out on my class one day because the desks were arraanged in a circle instead of rows. He just couldn't take it and had to leave. This man's salary is the biggest waste of tution money ever.

I liked him. He introduced me to so many new authors! It's been awhile since I had him, but I would rate him as a pretty good teacher. I read everything I was supposed to, studied for tests, turned in all required work, attended class faithfully, and got an A. Isn't that how it's supposed to work?

I have Dr. Stooke right now and let me tell you, it's no picnic! He is ALL about format and nothing else! I'm glad that I had an AP english class before this because he doesn't teach anything. He just expects you to copy his format for everything and the content of your papers doesn't really matter.

"Dr." Stooke turned this class into pure misery. This is the most confused individual on the planet. The amount of reading in this class forced me to turn in a paper I had written for another class. I originally recived a grade of 98 for this paper. Stooke gave me a 55. How is that possible????!!!!!
