what a lazy, care for nothing teacher. I have had him several times before and I believe he continues to get worse over the years. I wish he would just retire. He doesn't teach. He doesn't help. lousy teacher.

Great man. He's one in a few teachers who cares about his students. He has taught me not only about the skills of painting, but about life, religion, and politics as well. Every class is eventful, and I look forward to the talks I get to share with him. He knows his stuff.

Always comes to class complaining about other faculty members. He also will always find a reason to leave class every little bit. He has to check his mail or the chair wants to have another onofficial meeting with him - you name it! He is obviously very burnt out with his position at Marshall.

the figure drawing class largely depends on the availibility of models. Sporny is a kind, understanding, and inventive man who looks out for students first. His coworkers say he puts his neck out for us more times than we can know. If he starts talking politics, then talk back~!

very insightful, not a class for freshmen- or those without any talent- it's an upper level course. I don't blame Sporny for people who cant develop anything after years of art classes. It takes work to be good at it. Helpful with graduate school recommendations- many contacts outside of the university.

This might be acceptable in a sociology or political science class, but his diatribes have npothing to do with the subject matter. And they're delivered in such an ugly manner that it intimidates students from espressing their own views.
