I thought this class would be interesting and pretty doable. Instead I got a 72 on the first exam. very unclear about what he wants- "dont give me a definite answer". just took the 2nd test so hopefully I have figured out more what he wants. Not very interesting just go over cases that arent on exam

Very interesting class and not that difficult. You go over a few cases each week and usually get out early. Tests are MC, fill in the blank and essay and not that hard. He uses a lot of examples from his law experience which are interesting and clear things up. Definitely take him.

GREAT TEACHER.very smart and interersting. No quizzes or homework, 4 straightforward exams. In Criminal Law the exams are essay, and in Criminal Proced half essay half mult. choice and fill in the blank. Come to class and you'll do fine. He lets you leave early most of the time. You'll learn alot!!

David Ian is a cool man. He knows what he is talking about but is a bit monotoned.. he tolerates annoying questions which can drag on class. The tests are easy..just have to know concepts NOT all the cases. Dont really even need to read. Take.

This class was pretty easy for me but only because I do really well with picky essay tests. A lot of kids had trouble in this class. Very smart man, but a little boring. If you do the work and pay attention, you'll do fine.

Sounds like Doug Llewelyn from The People's Court. Nice guy but somewhat picky grader. Tolerates a lot of really stupid questions about completely trivial points, which can get a little annoying when it causes class to grind to a halt.
