mr. west is awesome. he comes across really tough but once you stick out the class until about half way he lightens up and class gets really fun. Mr. west helped me a ton with editing my papers I would have failed the first one if he hadn't pushed me so hard. When I finished it he gave me great feedback that made me work even harder.

Was a good class, teacher a little confusing, but gives feedback and always tries to find improvement in everything. If you have a lot going on in life i would advise not to as it a lot of assignments you need to get done if take his evening 3 hour class.

I have been in Honor English and AP English all the way through high school. I decided instead of taking the compass to just sit through English 101 and receive an easy A. He talked about nonsense, insisted you be in class to listen to his nonsense, and then graded your English papers like you were a professional author. Worst experience ever.

Mr. West was a hard professor...I iften found that he was to demanding, rude and sometimes made it unable to approach him. Overall he knows his stuff however i would not reccomend him.

I came back to rate him because of I question how hard he grades. I fought like hell to barley pull a B in his class. I am in a four year university know and have not recieved lower than an A on any paper I have turned in. Maybe I learned that much in his class but I doubt it. Don't get me wrong, you can learn a lot if you don't need a 4.0
