Don't stress, you'll do fine. This class seemed intimidating at first but it really wasn't that bad. I took Professor Wright summer 2018. He is not a tough grader in my experience and is a pretty decent guy. He understands that students are not at his level of expertise in the course material so he does not treat us as such. Do the work.

The class was interesting! The textbook was an easy read. There is 1 Term Paper of 6-8 pages, 1 Logic Project of 2-3 pages, Midterm, and final (T/F/MULTIPLE CHOICE/FILLINBLANKS). You have the opportunity to rewrite your logic project and write a paper if you don't do well on the midterm. 10 EC PTS if you get over 90 on the midterm. Pretty easy!

Great class for 18-20 yr olds. It's basically critical thinking, philosophy, and logic, which, at 36 yrs old, I found useless and obvious, but it's required. Score a 90 or better on the midterm and you don't have to take the final. One easy "logic" paper, one full-length research paper. Nice-ish. Kinda patronizing and pretentious, tbh.

Great professor! Just pay attention to the things he'll repeat in class because they'll most likely be on the test. The course consists of 2 exams, a logic project and a term paper. Re-dos are allowed for the logic project and he allows you to turn in drafts of the term paper for review! Great class and really interesting!

If you have no idea what BIS is, its basically a philosophy class. This isn't your typical class where you take notes and study them for your exam. Get ready to write. Good thing about him is he is really fair. Besides the fact that its late on Friday, its a great class. Participate in class and he'll like you.

The only difficult part about this class is the professor. His lectures are boring. I don't care that he is atheist but I do mind his rudeness. It's not a hard class but he expects you to learn what his beliefs are even though some of his "facts" are incorrect. You basically cannot have your own opinion in this class.

Professor wright was very impatient in class when I approached him for help with questions. Inappropriate comments on assignments and my papers were downgraded without any explanation. Made me feel very uncomfortable in class.

Professor Wright is not a good professor. He is not a good teacher. But he is an amazing speaker. I enjoyed everyday that i would come to his class because his class had nothing to do with memorization and entirely learning to think.

This course scared me before going into it but once I was in class I felt more comfortable. There are a few papers, 1 midterm, and 1 final. The papers are a little tough but he will help you a lot and it will become easier. He is very helpful and nice and wants to see his students learn and succeed. Great class and wonderful professor!

Mr Wright helps the ones that want to learn, you are not in the University to pass time and get a degree, if that is what you think, then you do not belong to this class. Mr Wright will help you succeed all you have to do is let him know. He is the best professor! If you do not make an A is because you did not care at all!

If you would like to learn about science, take Mr Wright. He is an excellent professor and knows his material, knows what he wants from his students, he would like for us to learn, reality and writting; reality, learning, science, writting are the main things you will take from this course.

Intelligence and lecturing of his style, sadly, is a dying standard. If you don?t make an A in this class, you are a LAZY bum, and the fact you made it this far is miraculous. Do the assignments as assigned and show up to class. You will have to write, so get used to it; otherwise, drop the class ? you will not enjoy it.

Good professor definitely would take him instead of the others. Lectures are a bit boring, but after all it is used on essays. He gives multiple opportunities to make a good grade, and doesn't require a minimum on essays.

The class is boring and the teacher says the same things a lot. I agree...check his facts, they are not always true. There is lots of writting and the professor doesn't grade fairly, he will mark you off for things he is not clear on.

If you want to join a cult this is the class for you. Mr. Wright is a charismatic leader with often false or distorted facts and in cult like fashion he repeats himself week after week. If you are one of his devoted followers you will do great, otherwise you?ll be ridiculed. If you have a mind of your own this is not the professor for you.

He is a Tad bit full of himself. The class is fairly easy, but there is a lot of writing. Oh yeah, don't take his word for everything, check his facts he tends to skew at times.

Great teacher, very interesting. Be prepared to read assigned texts and take great notes because that is all you will be able to use to write your papers. No test, lot of writing. Very fair and would definitely recommend for learning and a good grade.
