Pretty easy teacher. Lectures are only slightly helpful since he only gives a broad overview of the material. SI is very helpful. The tests aren't bad and he gives practice exams which help a lot.

i dont know what everyone is complaining about. this is the easiest class you could possibly take if you are any type of science major. he TELLS you to get his old tests- he copies and pastes directly from them and changes the numbers by 1 or 2. TAKE HIM!

it's been 4 years since I've taken this class (now I'm graduated and far far away from Waco) hehehehe. He wouldn't let me make up a test when I missed it to have LUNG SURGERY after a collapsed lung; had to retake the class. GRRRRRRR.

Has favorites. If you're not one of them, he tends to blow you off. Get a hold of the old test from someone if you can (many are in circulation, which seems to be ok with Dr. Y), because his lectures don't really help.

Very unhelpful. Was never in his office during office hours, refused to return phone calls or emails, gave no help whatsoever. His lectures are very unclear, especially when it comes to material on the tests.
