His class was a joke, he missed four classes for personal reasons, plus another four because of the hurricane. three take home multiple choice exams, your lowest grade is dropped. For the classes he was there for, during half he showed history channel movies. This was a waste of my time and money, but I needed it as a core class.

Great guy! He loves what he's teaching and it shows through his lectures. There are three exams, which are all take home. There was also a final paper which helped boost grades. Take him if you can :)

Easy class, got an A. All exams including the final are TAKE HOME. The lectures are boring we watched two videos and we did a final paper. Make sure you ask questions so he can know your name, trust me it helps your grade. He does not take attendance but he gets to know the faces and where students sit and who they are. TAKE IT.

If you get the option to have him take it!! His classes can get a little boring, but he is very passionate about what he teaches. He simplifies everything down to the need to know. There a 3 easy TAKE HOME multiple choice exams! Attendance isn't mandatory and u prob dont even need to go. This class is an easy A. I deff recommend this guy.

I got a B without trying too hard. He tells interesting stories but the class is boring. He came whenever he felt like so I did too. Watched a few movies and gave a review for the final exam. Not a bad guy though!

Booooooooooring. Just likes to tell stories. Absolutely pointless but you can get through it. Dont even need to pay attention. Midterm is take home and review the info that he gives for the final. no hw/pprs. dont buy textbook useless. Dont stress if you feel like you learned nothing. I learned absolutely nothing and got a B. not a memorable class.

He is such a great guy. Really funny, cracks jokes all the time. Two take-home tests and an in-class final which was pretty easy. Attendance is not mandatory at all. He canceled a few classes. Easy A! Take him!

Take all the grades very srsly. 2 take-homes, 1 ex cred paper (make sure you do it), 1 in class final. The take homes are tough so double/triple check your answers. Ask him questions, he loves it+gives you the answer (you still learn tho). DO WELL ON THE TAKE HOMES bc the final was difficult (a couple failed). Got an A.

This guy is the best teacher in SJU! I've taken plenty of history classes & his are the best. Yeah, he talks about random stories but who cares? Show up, have a laugh, learn a little & go to the internet for test answers. Do NOT stress about your grade, you'll be fine. 3 take home tests- NO paper's, seriously, there is nothing better!

do yourself a favor and dont but the textbook you'll never use it. his class is lecture, but sometimes he tells one of his school stories to relate to his lectures somehow, which can be funny. easy tests cause they are take home and u can use the internet for them. they are just multiple choice, true/false or fill in the blank. easy class

easiest history class..he is very knowledgeable but goes off on tons of tangents about his personal life..doesnt give a lot of notes..tests are all take home, no in class tests or quizzes or papers! likes to watch movies, but can be somewhat boring at 7 am..i'd recommend taking him because it's an easy grade nd the movies are interesting.
