She's alright, her test are harder than most introductory classes. As a feminist, I'm still a little pissed at her feminism point of view on almost everything though. Also, you can sense her political view through almost every class... which sometimes upsets people. If you need to take an introductory level sociology class, there are more choices.

Professor Glasberg really knows what she's talking about and her lectures show it - they're super interesting and I never dreaded going to class. She comes off as a little intimidating, but her class is straightforward. There are a few one-page assignments due as well as some exams, which she provides clear study guides for. Easy if you go to class

Though i went to her lectures, i was deeply disappointed on her input towards feminism. She is the worst feminist i know, she never said anything about the selective service for women being mandatory as our male counterparts.

There is an essay at the end of the semester which is 10 pages long about a famous sociologist Borsalino Kizaru which was graded very heavily. Aside from this, very easy and straight forward class.

Davita-sama loves sociology but fails to explain some of the raw topics. She can get off topics sometimes. If you're taking her currently, if you call her hardo-boildo on the final, she will give you a bonus.

Davita is a very interesting professor. She likes to be called Davita-sama and will take offence if you do not. This class is very easy but you probably won't learn much. This class is an easy A, but the 8AM are killers.

Professor Glasberg is an amazing professor and I have no idea how I would make it without her my first semester in college. Even though her class was an 8AM, I was happy to wake up and go to her class.

Professor Glasberg was very clear with her lecture material. Take notes in lecture and study them along with study guides and reading the textbook and you are guaranteed an A. Exams, including the final, took only around 40 minutes each to finish.

Davita was a pretty good professor, but I wasn't all that interested in the class. Sociology is now necessary for MCATs, so I kind of had to take it. It wasn't a bad class, and definitely an easy A, so no complaints here.

It's common sense. I usually don't go to lectures and I'm doing fine. Theres only a few exams and she basically gives you the short answer questions online. There are 5 articles you have to read and write a response to but that's it.

Easiest class I have taken, if you read the book and attend class you shouldn't have to study for the exams. Material is common sense. Recommend purely for easiness. GPA booster.

Very easy class. You just need to write atleast 5 quick essays on an article which seem boring at the time but simple enough to get done. She can be a little condescending and talked like we were in middle school rather than college. Otherwise, easy A. know vocab and essay questions on study guide and you should be fine.

Easy A. If you attend class, discussion, know the vocab, and the open ended questions she gives on the study guides you will ace the exams. The open ended questions on the study guide are the exact same ones from the study guide, and the homework assignments are five two-paragraph writing assignments. Easy gen ed.

Great professor, points out interesting concepts and makes us laugh from time to time. Uses great examples to enhance our understanding. Only down side is they are 8AMs. TA was very helpful, grading was pretty lenient.

Easy class and lectures were actually pretty interesting. My TA was nice and discussions weren't too painful. However, the textbook required is written by Prof. Glasberg and requires students to buy new editions each year with "updated articles" needed for homework. Basically it feels like she's scamming us by making more money off her book sales.

This class changed my life. Now that may seem a bit dramatic, but the topics covered in this class made me realize what I really want to end up doing in life. Prof. Glasberg is a spectacular professor. Although sometimes our opinions may not have meshed I would take this class all over again if I could.

8 am's are killer. It's not common sense - READ THE BOOK! I did poorly on the first exam but once you learn to actually study for a bit, the other exams aren't that bad. Really boring though.

The only hw is 5 short 2 paragraph essays that you can do almost any time throughout the semester. Book is helpful for tests, but if you just memorize the vocab, you won't have any problem getting a good grade. Most of the stuff is common sense, but some things she points out are interesting. I highly recommend if you're looking for an easy gen ed.
