Had her years ago (now in grad school) & she's still one of the best teachers I've had in my life! Love her & her class! If you're a slacker, however, you'll stick out like a red flag so be prepared to work.... but you'll be thankful!

This class was great! She was helpful and very informative. A must for every teacher in training. I wish every teacher had this much passion for their work. I'll admit there are a ton of rewrites to the same papers but in the end it made me a better writter and will help my teaching. Take it you won't be disappointed.

Professor Formo is by far the greatest professor that I have had at CSUSM. Yes, she does make you learn, but she takes time to respond to each and every thing that you turn into her. She is great and if I had the opportunity I would definitely take a class with her again.

I am not afraid of "doing work." Having said that, I found Dr. Formo confrontational and condescending. The moments when I felt I had gleaned any sort of new insight on the topic were few and far between. The random structure of the class served to make it a permanent afterthought in my semester.
