Do NOT take this class if you are conservative,christian, white, or a heterosexual. This was THE biggest waste of time in my life, and I had to bite my tongue the entire semester. Does not teach, but just explains her liberal views constantly. Man-hater, especially white men hater. She never returned a single paper or quiz the entire semester.

awful teacher. i didn't learn anything. classes were a waste of my time. i would have reported her to her boss for being so awful, but she gave me an A to shut me up. I know the work I did wasn't worth an A, but I guess she got lazy. I would never take her again, though.

My favorite teacher at East Carolina. Some don't like her because she makes you think for yourself but hello, in the real world there isn't going to be anyone there telling you how to think. As long as you participate in class discussions and have somewhat of a clue it's an easy A.

She s timeems like a cool teacher at first, but the class was a waste of my time. We got off on tangents talking about the stupidest stuff, then she gets all mad because we aren't getting anywhere when she was contributing to the problem. Fun, but difficult. Makes you feel stupid.

She's a really great person to know, but she's not a great professor. I never got any grades back. Her attendance policy is what got me in the end, so go to class. There are many EC opps, though. Class discussions veered totally off-topic. Not clear about her grading system. Tread with caution.

Very interesting class!! You learn sooo much from her!!!! You have to write many papers, but she doesn't care about grammar too much, but more what you think!! She is strict on being in class, but it IS worth your time!! Very inspirational! And very helpful if you need it!!

Fabulous teacher. Take this class if you're more interested in learning about life and the real world than keeping your nose in the text book. She is slow on getting grades back, though. I think that conservatives should take this class because it busts many myths that people have about feminism.
