She was able to understand any problem I was having and explained perfectly how to help with it. I was a shy and terrible writer upon entering her class and now get perfect scores on my papers because of the help she gave me. She was available anytime I needed her outside of class and always responded when I would email her.

She is the head of the english department so she is a pretty tough grader. When it comes to clarifying her expectations, she is very clear. Whenever she gives you a rough draft, she tells you exactly what you're missing and gives you ideas on what to put in. She also lets you revise EVERY paper, so take advantage of it. Love her.

Since she is the head of the dept she is pretty intense, but she really cares about what she is teaching. There are about 4 or 5 essays and 1 final presentation. The essays will take forever to write if you do them right. Class is actually entertaining and it usually ends a little early.

A great professor. This was my second class with Dawn, and like the first one, this one was also great. While she does ask a lot from her students, in return, you receive a lot. she is friendly, and willing to help anyone. You can tell she really cares about her students, and takes her job seriously. Dawn Terrick is an amazing caring teacher. She is strict and you have alot of reading and papers to write, but you learn a lot from her class if you listen and do the work that is required of you. I hope to get he for ENG104 and ENG210 in the future. Thanks, Dawn!!!

Dawn is an extremely good professor. She is always willing and available to help you if you don't understand something. Yes she does require a lot of work from her students, but in return you learn something, not like other classes where you get an A for doing nothing; an A in Dawn's class and you know you have earned it, and it makes you feel good

I dreaded this class EVERY DAY!!! While she is very helpful, there is a lot of homework and it is basicly one paper after another. It sucks! At the end of the semester all papers are combined into one final. There is also a final test. At the beginning of the semester she also requires the reading of several very long, boring articles. Not fun!

A very good teacher- I learned a lot in her class, but she didn't seem to understand that a Freshman level class should have Freshman level work. My junior and senior classes- even those not in my major- were easier. The class required so much writing I didn't have time to do anything else.
