I have Dr. Miller for Drugs and Society, a selected topics class. I do not enjoy him as a professor at all. Our class is at 8 am but he is loud, blasts music, repeats himself a lot and mispronounces every word. He makes inappropriate political comments. Overall, I would not take him.

Professor Miller is a tough grader, mostly because he only grades on the midterm exam, final project and attendance. (at least for the course I took). His lectures are verbal, and he doesn't write many things down - you're not expected to take notes, but should for points he emphasizes heavily. Don't take him if you're an entitled type of student.

I took his class over the summer and I honestly had a blast. He at first can be very intimidating, but he is actually a good person. He shows a great amount of outside examples, that made it clear to understand the concepts more. I would choose to take him again. You may have to do a significant amount of work but you will learn so much.

Dr. Miller is one of my favorites on this campus. He made class interesting, never having a dull moment. He talks fast and you do have to read, but this is college and the work is expected. Would definitely recommend him for anything that he teaches.

Lectures are long and intense. He is a decent teacher but I wouldn't take him again. He likes to spring pop quizzes on you and he also requires that you know whats happening in the news like 24/7. His tests are wordy and can be confusing. He also won't give study guides. Make sure you compare your notes to the textbook when studying.

Dr. Miller is a great professor and gives amazing lectures for the sociology of disasters course. You can see his enthusiasm for the topics he is teaching. He shares personal experiences and current events for discussions. He will give pop quizzes on the readings so be sure you are focusing during lectures and books.

He seemed like a funny guy, but I wouldn't recommend taking him. He doesn't really feel the need to help students. He had to skip two and a half weeks of class, and then made up for it by requesting 3 separate papers within a matter of days. There are so many other better teachers at Rowan.

This man is very insecure and feigns it warrogance. He was a motivational speaker at aspire and he said once a student of his said he needed help wa paper and his response was "I don't care"! Nice attitude. Doesn't care about his students or their grades. Disgraceful prof. he watches youtube coach corey wayne videos-clearly he has women issues.

Take him, especially for soc problems! He comes off as intimidating but don't scare you. I didn't even have the book and failed the first test and still ended up with a B. Just go to class and pay attention to his lectures, he's funny!

Really great guy to have a class with. He is funny, nice, engaging, and will ive you help if needed. His written tests are very hard though, you have to look and read in the book and notes when studying, otherwise you will fail. Otherwise, his assignments are relatively short and easy. I would highly recommnd him.

All reviews on this site were older and pretty much said he was great. So not the case anymore. He was behind on the syllabus the whole entire year then one day realized he needed to get his act together and gave us a giant test which the whole class failed. Pretty much ruined my GPA for the semester along with many other students. Do not take!!

Dr Miller is one of the first professors that I have met. He is extremely honest and he has helped me ameliorate a lot over the 5 weeks spent in his class. The fact that I manages to pull an A in his class, my freshman year, during the summer only proves that he lectures very well and is of incomparable help.

Absolutely amazing! i had him for an 8am and i hated waking up but he made it so worth it. i would take him over and over again. he's hilarious. just take notes and read the chapters and you'll be fine. tests are simple. participate and he'll love you.

The people who said he was a hard grader and boring teacher probably failed and are amde because he was great! I learned ALOT and walked out with an A-! All you have to do is pay attention because he randomly calls on your and you have a midterm and a final which are easy! His class was a piece of cake!
