Comment:

Not a big fan. He is a great guy, but the grading seems to be very subjective. However, he only has 6 assignments, so that means you only have a limited opportunity to advance your grade. His lectures often lead to digressions. Like I said, he is a great guy, just not the greatest professor.

Dean Curry is extremely nice. He truly cares about every student. The only problem I have is that he only teaches one class a semester which means that I can never fill my class schedule with politics classes. He also chooses his book list from the that year's best sellers.

Dr. Curry is very caring and helpful. He goes out of his way to get to know his students and will stop to have a conversation with one of them when passing. The world views class is very interesting and spiritually challenging. I would definitely recommend it.

There's nothing you can do to prepare for his test essays, but I found that great. While I was always stressed beforehand, I found that most of the time he was just making sure we could clearly form an opinion about the subject. He changed the class up a bit so you never got bored (lectures, guest speakers, movies, etc). I would take him again.

Excellent teacher, my favorite at Messiah College. Assigns readings from diverse perspectives and is very fair to students and their opinions. Relates things too much to the Cold War, but it makes the class interesting for the new generation of conservatives, and all around for liberals. Great prof.

Curry relates EVERYTHING to the Cold War, somehow it all comes back to the auspices of the Cold War. There really is no diversity of thought, nor is it encouraged. Conservative thought rules the classroom.
