I had Dr. Rumpho-Kennedy as my Cell Biology professor at SCSU. I was actually retaking the class because it was so difficult with a different prof, and it was like night and day. She is very knowledgeable of the subject and genuinely cares so much about her students and wants them to understand. If you have a chance to take a class with her- do it!

Great professor, If u do the work and study you should have no problems. She will go out of her way to help with any problems that you have. I dont see why some people have such a problem with her. I would highly recomend taking the class even if it is just for the credit.

This class was overwhelming. As far as the curve goes it can help, I got a C in the class when I definitely should have gotten a D. I went to every lecture and studied like there was no tomorrow, I guess there are some lectures you just can't win in.

class is easy but have to put time in it. You really dont need to go to lectures she reads right off the slide so you can teach yourself. As far the grading goes I found it to be unfair and the grades flucuate way to much so if your on the high point you feel cheated if on low end god blessed u.

Mary is the best teacher I have every had. She is helpful,lectures is easy to follow, genuinely cares about her students. Plenty of personal attention. Chemistry in HS killed me. I've got a high A now. Can't wait to take her again.

Very nice person that is willing to help you out but her notes suck! Very hard to keep track about what she is talking about. It's better to teach yourself instead of going to class. Good amount of extra credit though for going.
