After I attended Pierce College I graduated from UC Riverside and Prof. Pickard was the best teacher I had throughout my educational pursuit. His teachings were life changing; not only for me, but for many others, as well. Prof. Pickard is a teacher with a genuine soul and cares for his students and their education.

Honestly, don't even bother. I attended every class meeting and still had a difficult time trying to figure out what he wanted. Lets his politics get in the way sometimes. Goes on tangents that seem like they're related but in the end, they're not. Best thing is he lets you rewrite your essays if they're particularly bad.

Hot older man. Knows his stuff. Fli-flops about essays/quizes/reading. Likes the sound of his own voice. Also taught Karate.

Don't take Philosophy 6 during summer! His lectures are clear and very interesting; the exams are killer. He's arrogant, wrote his own book, Exams are meant to confuse you, not teach you. He knows Philosophy yes, but exams suck.

This professor is definately not for everyone. Although he is very knowledgeable, you WILL NOT be spoonfed. Expect to get out as much effort as you put into his classes ie: do the reading/study/ask questions--did I mention do the reading?
