A truly fantastic professor. Intelligent, kind, and humble (humility is uncommon among intellectuals, I'm afraid, but he's frank and doesn't feel the need to insecurely lace his arguments with needless jargon). Also, he respects students' questions and answers them thoroughly. Very easygoing personality but expects much precision on exams/essays.

I LOVE Professor Zimmerman!!! He is a super smart dude and really nice. Exams are kinda hard... so study, the arguments are not simple, however Dean spends a large amount of time going over them and he makes power points so your able to just listen (if thats your thing)

phil major w/ senioritis and took 200 level class and he made that interesting. It was amazing that I made it to a 10am class just for that. he's really helpful, draws in advanced concepts for those who like phil, but doesn't talk abstract nonsense
