If you can take a class with him, do it! Easily, one of the best professors I've had. He's funny and entertaining and not a ball-buster. Class discussions are fun and he's a really easy grader. Definitely one of my favorites.

My absolute FAVORITE professor so far. He's so funny. Really gets you interested in education,and prepares you for what you're going to face as a teacher. Be prepared to talk in class, he grades on discussions. Hardly any work to do except occasional readings and required 2 "papers" that are like 2 pages.

Without a doubt the best teacher I've had in my 3 years at SUCO, and I guarantee when I've graduated I'll look back and he'll have been the best. Very discussion oriented, real and extremely helpful; he honestly cares about everyone's opinion. Attendance not mandatory just don't miss a lot or you'll really miss a lot. He is def. the coolest prof. He's so funny and doesnt take anything too seriously. Lots of discussions so it's fun if you like to voice your opinions. Not a lot of hw, some reading and write a discussion. loves to joke around but also really teaches and makes you think about what is going on in our educ. system. take any class you can with him!!!

Awesome professor. Expects you to participate in class because it is mostly discussion, but if you are really against talking, right off the bat gives the option to only get as high as a B and he won't call on you. Need to read and go to class. He will open you up to new ideas about education and definitely will help you be a better teacher.

EASILY one of the best professors i have ever had. This man is REAL and doesnt hide behind books and is not afraid to tell it like it is. Big believer in the Socratic Method and group discussion. Work load fair. Very approachable and extremely fun and nice!!! Take as many courses with him as possible!! YOU WILL LOVE THIS GUY AND STILL LEARN!!!

The BEST professor I have had in my 3 years as a student here. He's REAL, tells you how it is, and teaches you things about the profession that will actually be useful. I wish more professors were like him. Do yourself a favor and take his class. And it doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes, too!

I was lucky... I had him when he was brand new to SUCO when he could still do a lot more of what he wanted. But he's bar none, I think, one of the greatest and most honest professors in the Ed Dept. And I've had a lot of them! He doesn't sugar-coat ANYTHING!

If you want a teacher that caters to the lazy people in class take him. He is the type of guy that gives you an assignment 3 months in advance and then tells you the specifics of what he wants two days before it is due. Oh and his tests are crazy ridiculous! He expects you to remember every pointless detail from the textbook.

By far the BEST education teacher at SUCO and I have honestly learned more from him than any other teacher. He opens your eyes to what is really important when becoming a teacher and has inspired me and many others to construct ways in which to change the NYS education system and make a difference in our students lives.
