She is the most caring professor I've ever had, very kind and will always answer you questions and help when you need it. It was easy to understand her teaching style and she's thorough and will go over things many times if the students need it. Do all the labs there is no other HW! Simple to pass if you do all of the work. It's not too much.

She is the whole package. She cares and wants you to succeed no matter how much trouble you are having. If you show effort she will show you respect to work with you. You can talk anything out with her. She is understanding and reasonable. My money paying for an educator like her is what I have been waiting for at this school. Great lectures. Loud!

I love prof Spelman! She was an amazing prof. She cares about her students and goes out of the way for them. This class isn't just an easy A you do have to work for it but prof Spelman makes it very easy. There are 3 exams and a lot of Labs. She will be there for you every step of the way. You will not regret taking her!! I would take her again!!

When I took this class, I was with the risk of getting thrown out of NCC. I wanted to quit college. I met Prof. Spelman, not only was she an amazing teacher, a caring person but she was a mentor to me. She encouraged me not to give up and to stay in school. Because Of her influence, I will be graduating this may with my Nursing Degree.

She is absolutely THE BEST! Goes out of her way to help everyone individually. I took her in the summer and got an A. I'm taking her again this semester for Java. She's so sweet and kind to everyone, always smiling and cheerful. Best professor at NCC! Just do the work she assings. You wont regret taking her.

I am an adult returning student. I took this class instead of math thinking it would be easier WRONG! However Prof Spelman is an amazing teacher who never let me quit even though I tried. She was always willing to give extra help and teach me . She is smart , patient and kind, She is what every teacher at NCC should be like !
