I took Professor St. Peter for World Literature 1 this past semester and would say was one of the most interesting and exciting classes that i have ever taken at GTCC. Yes she is a tough grader and demands that her students lives up to their fullest potential but I feel that the extra shove and straightforwardness allowed me to be more confident

Ms St. Peter is very specific with what she wants, and if you don't give it to her, your grade suffers, DRAMATICALLY. Be prepared to read and write a lot. Also be prepared to be up to your eyeballs in homework every week. Only gives a week in order to complete essays plus everything else you have to do for the week. Be prepared to do a lot of work.

Great professor. I took two online classes with her. There is a decent amount of reading, forums, and activities every week, but the workload is consistent every week so it is easy to plan ahead. Most of the stories she assigns are short and entertaining, and she usually assigns 3- 3 page essays and let's you choose from a list of topics.

Professor St. Peter is fair in her assesments, but she is also fair to a fault. Follow her assignment instructions to a T and write your papers half way competantly and you'll be fine.

English 112 is a hard subject. If you are stupid or lazy, you will not pass. Generally, people who complain just don't put forth any effort and expect to be hand-held through school. If you fit this description, don't take the class. If you fit this description, keep your job at the Drive-Thru.

I have no idea what's wrong with these people saying bad things about her. I had her for a literature class. Yeah, there's work, but it's COLLEGE!!! Sometimes I just needed clarification on something and she was always willing to help with a GREAT attitude. Dont listen to these lazy people on here. You do the work, you get the grade you want.

While a professed "mouse potato," she should still stop typing and LOOK at the person who is speaking to her. When approached for help, she gave non-specific feedback and little useful advice. While some of her criticisms are valid, her tone is mean-spirited and unprofessional. As an instructor, she gets a C; as a person she gets a F.

This teacher is rude, not helpful and does not have a heart. She does not try to help her students, and is short when trying to clarify a question.

A lot of work, but she's always there to help. Don't expect an easy A. You earn your grade. And if you don't like working in groups or using discussion boards, do not take this class online.

Ms. St. Peter is a great teacher. She expects you to work for your grade. You do have to read your assignments and write some papers but nothing to outlandish. If you want an A for dragging your carcass to class and gracing her with your presence then don't bother taking her. I learned a lot from her and wish I could take her again.

As an English education major I've taken a lot of literature courses and this was the easiest. No long research paper, easy tests (if you do the study guide), your choice of papers--anyone who complains should take a different lit. course to see how easy Mrs. St. Peter really is. Try Greene or Marion if you want hard!

She is super hard, I was very excited about this class, and it was a good class, but her exams are extremely hard and almost impossible to study for. She does, however, have great taste in reading material and for that I recommend the class.

She was the hardest instructor I have had yet. I spent all my time online typing discussion boards. I did not like this class at all, I would only suggest her to someone that is into writing and wants a serious challenge.

If you're not willing to work, you will not want to take a class with Mrs. St. Peter. This class kicked my butt, but it was honestly my favorite class so far at GTCC. Mrs. St. Peter is tough and requires a lot from her students, and she also has a very strict attendance policy. Slackers and class skippers might want to take someone else!

she would change her mind about what she wanted for your paper only days before the assignment was due and she was very over bearing at times and could not decide what she wanted on any given day.

If you don't want to read, don't take this course! Lots of reading-with journal. The journal is helpful, but time-consuming. Daily quizzes. Not much lecture, mostly group work. Tests are easy if you do the study guide. 3 2-page response papers; you get to choose from 8 prompts. Fun art projects.

This was a very demanding course, but Ms. St. Peter does a great job communicating with students. You can usually expect a response to a question within a few hours--not a few days (like other teachers I've had).
