Many of the ratings here are examples of how the dumbest "students" respond to the greatest minds. Evans is a world-class specialist in medieval lit. As such, she is not going to appeal to the average numb nut BSU student. If you want an education from a true scholar, take everything she teaches.

The class was difficult, but she really knew her stuff. She is a very intelligent lady, and well accomplished. She has a bit of trouble relaying the info to students, but is amazingly helpful when asked. She made sure everyone in the class had a chance to do their best.

NEVER TAKE THIS TEACHER. She mumbles the entire class, never follows anything that resembles a train of thought, and laughs about nothing. I dropped her class because I couldn't take it. I know three people that dropped her english class too. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU CAN!! AWFUL PROFESSOR!

She knows stuff BUT she is unorganized, doesn't know how to deliver lessons to class, doesn't go over incorrect tests/quizzes, but yells at class for doing poorly. Very difficult grader! She loses her train of thought easily - I think she's suffering from alzhiemers. You won't learn anything!

I think you mean DEANNA Evans not Diane. She's very brilliant and very nice.The only problem I had is writing for her because she prefers the type of writing that would get published in an academic journal if you're a good academic writer you'll do well

She is one of the most brillian professors that I've ever met. I think she should be contributing to the academic and scholarly world as opposed to teaching - she has a lot more to offer there. She's a kind old lady - who is rather off-beat.
