Tough as ice, if you have a part-time job and you must take one of her classes, you better quit and just spend that time studying. And even then, you'll be lucky to get a C, even if you were Einstein.

There is no doubt that she has a passion for science, but she is very biased. She is not fair to a majority of the students and is very, very vague. Labs are almost pointless and take too long. She is perfect for students with too much time on their hands

She is a wonderful teacher! Always willing to help you out, stay after class, etc. She has great ideas and is very knowledgable! And SO much FUN! The best teacher I've had at SMC! She can be tough...but this is college!

If you can't stand the intensity of this class, you may want to rethink becoming a teacher. This instructor is the best preparatory instructor at SMC. You will understand how to teach life science thoroughly when you are done.

Not usually available after class. Gives terrible tests, you never know what to go over. Has a weird voice. But if you are going into education, you are probably stuck with her. Good luck.
