Her class is the hardest math class I have ever taken. She doesn't really teach all that well and we only had one test before the drop date (I would have dropped if I would have know how bad it was early). I went in for help one day and she told me that half of her class failed the first time so they were there again. DONT TAKE HER

She was wonderful. Other than being occasionally condescending to students and mixing up numbers while giving examples, she was very helpful. She made the class a fun environment and made difficult topics seem easy. Also, she gave us 10 points extra credit for each final practice exam attempted so that was bomb.

Math 111 is on ALEKS. You showed up to class to do your hw on the computer. She would take over the computers to teach something, but if you've already done it in ALEKS it's a waste of time &really annoying. 3 tests and the final, a quiz once a week over the weekly homework. You're taught everything online, she really didn't have to do anything.

This is a math class, in it you do math. The early math classes at BSU use the ALEKS system which is like taking a class online that you have to show up to physically. Professor Pearson is present to help if you need it and seems very friendly and helpful.

BY FAR one of my favorite teachers! She is very helpful and willing to explain things over and over until everyone understands. She assigns optional homework for extra help but never grades it. There are plenty of points to earn from quizzes and tests (we even had some take home quizzes) I HIGHLY recommend her!

I really enjoyed her class. She is very bubbly and cheerful. EXTREMELY helpful, is always willing to go over problems in class if you're having trouble. If you pay attention in class, study the notes she distributes, and do the homework problems, you will do just fine. She is a bit unorganized, but extremely passionate about teaching.

I am usually very good at math, but this class was hard! Her style just did not work for me. She gave only a few examples for each type of complex problem, which made it hard to understand. The tests and quizzes can be very hard if you have a speck of doubt on the material. I ended up dropping the class to avoid damaging my GPA. Do the homework!!!

She was a good teacher but I had her with a large lecture class and I could not get it. She gave minimal examples which made it hard, but it was only a 50 minute class. I had to drop the class so it wouldn't hurt my GPA

I liked Mrs. Pearson. She goes on a lot of tangents about her life and her daughter, but she explains material pretty well and is open to questions during class. I took this class in high school, so the material wasn't really new to me, though. :/ Overall, she's decent, ESPECIALLY if you have her in a small class instead of lecture.

I hate math I only took it b/c I had to but she made me want to come to class everyday she is so funny and always has a smile she helps me with everything I ask about although it can be hard to catch her b/c she has so many classes. if you want to do good do the hw if you want to do ok you'll pass without it but I don't recommend not doing it
