Easy class, but she is a biased professor. She love love loves her dance students and whatever they have to say, but when other students volunteer comments she will often ignore them or merely nod her head. Not open to different types of thinking, she just wants everyone to be as right brained as she is. As a science student I didn't feel welcome.

Go to class. Tests are off her slides and what she talks about in class. EASY class, you just have to go. She shows a lot of short clips from movies so try to stay awake. but overall, very easy class.

unfair, useless, and flaky. she takes at least a week to respond to e-mails. her powerpoint presentations are vague and make little sense. her tests have typos and her studyguides don't help. i wouldn't reccommend her unless i wanted someone to be miserable.

Professor Bernstein-Siegel is amazing. She is very intelligent and kinda fun. As long as you read the packets front to back, study them, and attend class every day, you WILL get a 4.0.

She is so annoying! She always interupt the guest teacher, who by the way, know what They are talking about. She always try to join in and learn the dance with the class, like she is paying $800 to learn different dances. I wish she would just sit down and SHUT UP!

highly reccomend this class for anyone missing a fine arts GEN ED. easy course, she lovees her job. easy to understand, notes are on slideshows. watch movies almost every class. quizzes and tests are fairly easy, just know your facts. you also have to go see one professional ballet and write a critique on it. nothing huge ...its not brain surgery

She is an EXCELLENT professor. I have taken very few History classes and I thought I was going to FAIL. I passed with above a 3.0. Make sure you talk to her about any problems you have in the class.

She expects a lot out of her students. The class is extremly tedious. You will never want to watch another dance video again. All girls take this class. Not an easy A, you do have to study. She teaches a lot of information her exams are all multiple choice. Extra credit is available also.

This class is so boring. She loves her job and you have to be interested in the subject to actually have fun in this class. We had one pop quiz and a couple of exams. Watch videos every single class. Some can be fun but others can be so weird. Take this class if you are interested in dance

Very crazy teacher who seems to absolutley love her life! Very easy class. I got 4.0 on both my papers. The class itself is interesting...but definitely worth a few laughs. Definitely take this class to knock out a Gen. Ed. and get an EASY 'A'!!!

Debi is okay. She got on my nerves sometimes with her smart comments, but overall she was fine. All she do is call the role, administer, and grade tests. The guest professors do everything else. Alot of dancing. Trust me, you do not have to be a pro.

Very interesting class. You may think dance history is a boring subject, but she'll make it really fun. She's lively and very nice. Take notes and you'll pass the tests easily. A great class to take to fill a gen ed requirement too.

very easy class. just come dressed in sweats everyday & as long as you try you'll do fine. you don't have to be a great dancer to get an A, trust me. you have to write 2 papers & there are quizzes on each culture (very easy).
