Deb is one of the best lecturers at UNBSJ. Her real world experience makes the class that much more understandable. She is extremely professional & challenges you to think outside of the box. She is great a giving feedback and gives you clear expectations of what you need to do to accomplish to learn something from her class (and get a good grade).

I had her for Business Communications, and it is easily the best course I've taken so far at UNBSJ. She has very high expectations, and attendance IS mandatory. Expect to do work, but in exchange, you get a great, insightful learning experience. I really hope she teaches more courses at UNBSJ in the future!

I love listening to her talk. She is very insightful and knowledgeable about the field of HR. She may appear arrogant, but it is her teaching style and she encourages learning by appearing "scary". She is a very hard marker, but you will come out of her course with more than just a final grade. You will have learned something.

very professional, charismatic, amazing sense of humor. Exams are straight forward. VERY high expectations (not very clear expectations though), very creative and wants everything to be out of the box. Memorable person, her experiences certainly boost the spirits for high ambitions.
