I adore Thomas. He is a great teacher who takes sincere interest in the success students. He's also quite witty and makes class interesting and fun. Very intelligent and knows a lot about German culture, not just the language and grammar. Not going to lie... i developed quite the intellectual, and otherwise, crush on him. All around great guy.

Totally over-rated TA. I really didn't like him at all. The pace was too slow and he treated us like idiots. I learnt more after reading the textbook and surfing the internet for info. on learning German.

It will look like he paid me to put these grades. I greatly appreciated how well he understands the difficulties encountered by a beginner and adapts his teaching to it. He explains everything both in english and german, exaggerates the accent, etc.

He's just really, really haphazard in his teaching and has no clue how to present material. Read the textbook - you'll learn more and avoid having to hear all his boring personal stories and anecdotes. Very unprofessional I thought.
