Painfully boring. Rambles on things that don't make much sense. Quizzes are hard and there is not much to study that she provides. No book, no notes, and not helpful over email or in person. Rude if you answer wrong in class, and again, painfully boring. Don't take her class.

There is a module for each week. Each module has about 10 different links for you to study, rather it be a lecture, word document, article, powerpoint, etc., 10 minutes to answer 10 questions on quizzes, and you can barely find any of the answers from her modules. Her homework assignments are very unclear, and grades rough on them. Barely passed.

Very difficult and boring. You have to sit and force yourself to listen to her powerpoints. Even when you think you are trying your best on the quizzes and homework you'll most likely get a 7 out of 10.. I would suggest taking someone else for this!

"Dr. B." is extremely unclear not only in her PowerPoints, but also in her quizzes that she assigns you. Most of your grade is made up of these quizzes, which you have 10 minutes to complete 10 questions. Even if you go back in the lectures you might choose the wrong answer. If you email her for clarity, you will get a condescending attitude.

This was the most challenging class I have had at Rosen so far. There's no book. She teaches from power points or guest speakers. The entire class is made up of 10 quizzes & 2 HW assignments. Quizzes are 5 questions in 5 minutes and the information is NOWHERE to be found. harsh grader on Hw assigjments, instructions not clear at all! DO NOT TAKE!!!

Worst teacher I have ever had at Rosen. Her instructions are extremely unclear on her assignments and she will take off points for pretty much anything. Also when you ask questions about her unclear directions be prepared to deal with her attitude. Her quizzes have nothing to do with the material you read, and she gives you NO time. AVOID!

Dr. Breiter was the least helpful professor I have ever taken. She grades hard and I had seen questions on the test that her answers actually went directly against what she said in class. Doesn't give you enough time to do the quizzes. 24 hour time period. 5 minutes for a 5 question quiz. WOULD NOT TAKE AGAIN.

If you want an interesting class, do NOT take this one. She lectures a lot & then you have an online quiz which is very poorly timed. Not accommodating at all for the working student. You can show up to class, participate in class, and read all of the assigned reading and still barely pass because her quizzes don't line up with the lecturesreading

Term A, hybrid, A-. 6 assignments- asks for a max of words but ignore it. I always wrote 5x the amount and she gave me extra credit. Some assignments are not 100% clear so ask her what she wants. Be thorough and write as much as possible. No book, 6 quizzes are easy you can find the answers in the powerpoints. No final. 1 extra credit quiz

I don't know who wrote all of these reviews but she is not an easy teacher. She doesn't explain assignments clearly and grades difficult and frankly, ridiculous. Hard on attendance policy too.

shes a good lecturer and keeps your interest, very knowledgable, and lots of world experience, travels alot. but doesnt give a review for tests at all which makes the tests sorta hard she takes alot of questions from the book to make sure you read liked her as a lecturer not as teacher as a whole because of tests

This class was required for the tourism track for some odd reason, but I managed to maintain consciousness. The class plans and executes the career fair, which students rated high, but I felt was a colossal waste of time. Dr. Breiter is an interesting lecturer and maintains the class' attention with her anecdotes about the industry.

Average teacher, desires to be "recognized" by faculty, industry professionals & demands it of students. Reads the powerpoints - insanely boring. Grade: based on planing Rosen Hospitality/Career Fair, a few tests & assignments. It's an okay class, could be better taught by someone with more tradeshow experience.
