Tough exams. Lecture material was not interesting and voice was monotone. You have a choice of taking the final or writing a short final paper, which was easier to write up than I thought.

terrible teacher,...you will learn nothing from the slides...read the book...take notes...never went to class and got a B+ ....exams are all situations and very tricky...there is a curve , apparently it's generous because I had a C+ and ended up with a B+ after the final paper

I went to class, studied slides, and it didn't help. By the time the second exam came around, the class average on both exams were in the forties. No curve was mentioned, or any grade at all, so I had to withdraw or risk failing.

She's really clear and the lectures are straightforward. I cut a bunch of times and studied the slides online and got like 60s out of 75 points on exams. If you're gonna cut, make sure to put in a lot of studying time. But her lectures really are quite interesting and there's a fairly simple final paper instead of a final. Nice deal. :)

Ignore the extreme comments!!! I got CDCC on my exams and got a B in the course- how nice is that? Slides are online so yo don't even have to go to class (I never did). No clickers or online assignments. NO FINAL! Just an easy paper about yourself.

The slides are posted on sakai, but going to lecture helps because she explains the topics more fully. Some questions on the exams are from lecture alone. Final paper definitely boosts your grade.

She was a boring professor in her lectures. But for the most part, she was pretty good since she posted her slides on Sakai, the paper that she assigned was an automatic boost to your final grade in the class, she gives 4 exams, and makes you do 5 RPUs worth of experiments. Got a B+ from her.

It is one of the hardest level 100 class that I have taken. Some level 300 are easier. The only problem is that her test asked too many very detail questions that no one really remembers. While there is a final paper that boost your grade up, but it is still a hard class.

She is a VERY boring professor. Probably only had 45 out of a 250-300 class show up to lecture. The powerpoints are online, so as long as you print them out, you really don't need to go to class. The exams are pretty tough, so be sure to read the book and the powerpoints. But, the upside is that she didn't have any homework/iclicker assignments.

Class was boring but the she did a good job at making the lectures interesting with her examples and videos. Attendance is not mandatory but it may be wise to go. I got a B+ in the class and I focused on studying the text book.

Cool teacher. 4 exams and 1 paper. You have to get 5 RPU credits or write an optional paper at the end of the semster. We watched a lot of videos in class which made it interesting. She is responsive to emails and reading the text book before exams help. Easy B, study for an A. She also curves if the class average is low

She knows a lot about the subject & you can tell she loves it. She's very quick with her notes (which she writes on the board) and with her explanations. She's short and to the point. You must be on time because she starts class right on time. Attendence is not mandatory, but I highly suggest you attend if you want to do good or just read the textbook

seems simple just reading the book but if your memory isn't the best i wouldnt recommend her. read the book for tests and get an easy C without going to class. if you're actually interested in psych i would suggest another teacher. 4 exams and a final paper, no homework

I got an A in this course, but not without reading every single chapter and taking detailed notes on my laptop in class. I found it difficult and I am so glad it's over with. If you have the opportunity to take this class with another professor - trust me - DO IT! She is monotonous and her writing is incomprehensible. Interesting topic-Awful class!

She was awful. Lectures were dreadfully painful to sit through. She lectured word for word from the text, not proving she knew anything. Just memorize the text to do well on exams. Too many exams (4 plus cumulative final), most boring and pointless lectures you could ever sit through. Do NOT take this with her. It's gotta be better with anyone else
