You're graded on 2 papers, a final paper, and participation. She gives you an amount of reading that is near impossible, but you can pass by skimming the chapters. Professor Kisatsky is a very good. She assigns a great deal of reading but that is to be expected in college. Discussion is highly recommended and is a big part of the final grade. Come prepared and contribute and you will do fine. A couple papers and quizes also contribute to the final grade. She is very clear when teaching and also helpful.

Prof. Kisatsky is highly approachable and is always willing to help when you need it. She also maintains a superior level of clarity in the classroom, which certainly helps. I personally enjoy the group projects, as it is an effective way to engage the students in the assigned work. A lot more fun than quizzes or tests.

Really good teacher. Gets you interested in the subject. Are a lot of readings to do but we just discuss them in class and have only 3 essays that are based on the books for class so no research!! She's really helpful and nice!

She may come off hard core @ first, but if you go to her office hours you will understand how sweet she is! She is extremely intilligent, and really well prepared for class, i've seen her notes, trust me. She actually just wrote a book. She is passionate about her subject, but be ready to talk in class. If you are shy about it and stuff like that just talk to her about it, she understands!!!!! she is a fair grader, alot of reading but you get used to it. TAKE HER!

Her class was difficult, but there are only 3 papers and she is a fair grader. The class is entirely participation oriented so if u dont talk in class, i wouldnt recomend i take this one. She is really excited about teaching and obviously loves history (sometimes a little too much haha)

She's passionate about history, though, too passionate about being a biased liberal. Only liberal topics in classes, only Dem favoring. No topics from the Right. She freezes when you ask questions that she can't handle. She's a fair grader, but leaves teaching up to the students too much.

VERY BORING! I've skipped 10+ classes just because I fall asleep in class every time, so I might as well stay in bed. Readings aren't hard, class is easy if you do them. No tests, two papers or so, just be in class and participate and you'll be fine.
