I love professor Morse. Honestly, I do. She's absolutely brilliant, inspiring, and probably the most caring professor I've had at the college so far. She personally reached out to me about my writing and worked with me daily for a week in order to bring my writing up to what she thought I was capable of. However, readings are long and papers abound

Professor Morse is amazing!!! She really knows what she's teaching and her lectures are incredibly thought-provoking. There is a ton of reading, but she's really understanding about people occasionally falling behind. She grades papers fairly and allows one late paper, which is so helpful. One of the best professors I've had.

This woman is amazing. You can tell she is passionate about her subject, and I was blown away by how much knowledge and love she has for the Victorian Era. She knows her stuff, so it's pretty much impossible to dance around the subject. Lots of reading, but a very fair grader and really there to help her students. She's amazing!

The best the English dept. has to offer! She is passionate and brilliant! A lot of reading. 4 papers and a final, but not a terribly hard grader. Her lectures are engaging. She transformed the way I look at literature. Definitely recommend!

She is simply amazing: so smart, kind, and understanding. Dedicated to her students and has an amazing grasp of the material she teaches. She is so helpful in office hours - go talk to her! One bad thing = A LOT of reading for the seminar, but what do you expect? Freedom in the response papers is awesome. Probably my favorite professor here.
