Dr. Reese is extremely flexible and understanding. She lets students miss two days of unexcused class but is really reasonable for other situations. We dont really read books, just short stories and small pieces. She grades well if you put in effort and is willing to help outside of class whenever possible. Classes are easy group discussions.

Dr.Reese is a sweet heart who loves her job and loves literature. She's most passionate about getting students' interests up in literature. There are three papers to write and a take home final and her grading was not bad at all. She gives you the course syllabus with all assignments on the first day of class, so that was very nice.

Dr. Reese is a very good professor. She is always willing to help any of her students, and she is in her office a lot, making it easy for you to set up an appointment. Her class was fairly easy but she grades hard. This is a college writing class, and if you don't put the effort in, don't expect an A!

Dr.Reese(as she'' ask you to call her because she worked hard for it.) Is an amazing human being as well as an amazing prfoessor. Always willing to help, and really wants you to think. In class essays and a few out of class, but nothing that's really going to have you pulling your hair out. Took her for 2100 as well, mostly in class reader response

Dr. Reese is a wonderful human being to be around in general. Very few professors come across as actually recognizing that students are PEOPLE, but she gets it which I appreciate. I felt she was very fair in her grading, and she always provided ample time to finish assignments so I rarely felt overly stressed or rushed. Take her if you can!

Dr. Reese is very friendly and eager to help. Had her for English 3. Group work everyday, class participation is weighted. One exam, a paper (she even helped me find proper sources), and a final exam. As long as you read and understand the stories, and have a valid opinion, the class comes easily.

Expect to teach yourself everything. The class is just an expensive book club in the beginning. You are assigned a poem or short story to read and have a class discussion about it the next time. She'll start actually teaching about 2 weeks before an exam is scheduled and all she does is give you handouts. I advise against taking her.

Prof. Reese was such a great teacher. I wish i could have her for all of my classes. She gave us 6 days to miss class and she is very laid back. You have hardly any work in the class but the work you do get is very easy and she does not grade harshly

Dr. Reese: immensely sweet and helpful! She is such a dear. The course was simple and clear, and she expressed a genuine interest in each of us as individuals. She's always willing to compromise, listen, and explain. Lenient, considerate, and saccharine. She supplies a curriculum which is interesting and useful! No text book. Optional field trips.
