This class wasn't bad, I was worried I was going to struggle in the beginning because she goes so fast. the class itself is pretty straight forward, don't stress! exams are the worst part but she lets you do corrections which is great. however, it really all comes down to how well you do on tests.

Heard a lot of bad things about Tesch before I took her, but the class was not that bad. I will say she's not that great at actually explaining the material, however she does most homework in class and gives you cheat sheets for the tests. The material is challenging, but the online homework site is great and if you understand it there you'll pass!

Everyone seems to hate this professor but she has definitely changed. She is really helpful, gives you a second chance, and offers extra credit. She even does most of the connect homework in class which helps you learn a lot for the test. Just stay on top of your work and you should be fine.

Worst professor at Xavier. Half the class fails the tests because she doesn't teach and her practice exams do not help at all. Took a ton of effort to just pass the class. Don't expect a good grade

Poor teaching skills, constantly makes mistakes both in class and in practice exam answer keys. Watch out for the case. She says she grades it easy for a boost but many students do poorly for arbitrary reasons.

She is very nice and straight forward. She presents the material very clear cut and leaves out unnecessary concepts that would otherwise be confusing. This was my third STATs class of my career and feel that she is the only one that made it ''click'' for me. Would definitely recommend.

Obviously knows what she is talking about, just sometimes has difficulty explaining the correct method to do many things. Not as bad as some people say, but definitely better if you're a student who prefers to just figure things out yourself. She does provide helpful exercises and practices.

Not as bad as what I had heard from others. In class consists of going over examples and note taking. She can go fast through examples so slow her down if you don't understand. Three tests, two cases, and homework for each chapter. Three homeworks are dropped at the end of the semester and some is graded for completion only.

At times seems really strict, but is really nice. You don't learn a freaking thing in class, and are left to your own accord outside of class. Everything is online, and through excel. It is really easy material, and would be easier if she actually taught us. Really nice, not a great prof.

She loves Statistics and you can see it through her teaching!!! I was struggling, but she does have great office hours you can go meet with her if you're uncertain about anything of the materials and she gladly will help you! She's adorable and has a great tan! I WOULD RECOMMEND TAKING THIS PROFESSOR!!!!

Tends to rush through lectures, so if you can't keep up in class, do see her outside or you will get left behind and trampled on tests. Excel-based class, so her MC questions do indeed suck, but the applications are easy if you can keep up. Too bad Statistics is just plain boring.

Dr. Tesch is not a bad professor. The whole class is in excel and she walks you through every problem. Her MC sections of the test suck, but other than that they aren't too bad. HW is graded, and she grades pretty harshly. Her personality is a little intimidating, but she is a nice person. Many people avoid taking the class because of her, take it

Goes extremely fast through lectures, but was very responsive in e-mails. Always showed up early to help. Her personality is not exactly disarming, but she is genuinely interested in students. Never liked Stats, but she isn't half as bad as people make her out to be.

She is not as bad as the other posts say. Yes it is true that everyone bombed the first test, but she gave us a curve and let us rework our probs to get more points back. She is kind of a cold acting person, but she is knowledgable and the class is not too bad.
