One of the worst and boring professors I've ever had. Hard assignments and she doesnt care about her students. Would never take again.

Comment:

Professor Morimoto is very passionate about Geography and makes learning very easy. While I was initially intimidated by the course, I passed with a 98% and didnt have to take the final. She gives study guides and drops your lowest score on just about everything. I definitely recommend taking her, especially if you're not a geography major

Comment:

Professor Morimoto was very knowledgeable about geography especially since she has traveled to many countries and experienced them firsthand. She gave many interesting lectures which included photos from her actual travels. I wish I could take this class again because it was so great!

Took this class for Geography Lab. Pretty easy, just buy the lab book because it is required. Laugh at her jokes and do the work and you should get an A. She drops two labs in the end.

she is so hard to pass and expects you to read so much. she shows pictures of her on vacations in class then expects you to go home read. definitely would never take this class again.

This was my first class, but I would take her again. You take notes in class (and watch a LOT of movies). Her tests are somewhat difficult because the wording can be tricky but you understand her testing type after the first one. Overall she's pretty good.

At first, she's a lot to take in, mainly because she laughs at her own jokes. But you get used to it. I actually started laughing with her near the end of the semester. Exams are Easy As if you do the study guide. Map tests are easy, but don't slack. The points add up. Current events are confusing at first, but follow her checklist, and no problem.

I think Mrs. Morimoto was a really good teacher. She seemed to have a genuine wish for all her students to pass and gave you plenty of opportunities to earn points in her class. Take good notes and the time to study and you will do fine.

Professor morimoto's class is pretty easy as long as you stay on track and study hard for the exams. The map assignments are easy and do not take long but I personally find them a waste of time. She's really goofy and is always happy I feel bad because my 8 am class with her is always sleeping while she's cheerful as can be

Her online class was extremely inconsistent. I went right off of the syllabus' rubric and still received zero's on assignments. There's some people who shouldn't teach online. She is one of them. I had to drop rather than take an F for doing work like she outlined. However, exceptional professor in person.

Prof. Morimoto is a super nice lady with a good sense of humor. Super helpful, and really has a passion for geography and it shows through her knowledge and travels. You can drop a quiz, a test, and a current event. Map quizzes were a waste of time, tests were easy, and current events took some time. I really learned a lot and was only bored 1 day.

She loves teaching. She shows photos she has taken that pertains to class. She is funny. Buy maps .75cents at bookstore and map coloring book $18.00 and you will ace the maps quizes. She lets you record lectures.Current event assignments easy.She gives extra credit assignments and she is always willing to help her students. Great & Passionate!

I had her for geography one and two online. I passed both with flying colors!!! The classes are super curved which is awesome at the end of the semester. I used the book for all the tests and map quizzes. Take these classes online and you'll pass, guaranteed! Just do the quizzes and everything ON TIME!

Professor Morimoto is very nice and helpful her when you ask but she gives out TOO much information .The map quizzez are easy if you study.they are 25 questions. Now the tests are difficult there r about 40 multiple choice and thn about 20 fill n the blnks not EAZY at all. Seems like thngs are worded differntly on exams

Her tests are REALLY hard. There are SO many definitions to remember. The map quizzes aren't the easiet either. She is funny and nice but it's all lecture until test day. I would get the book, too!
