Deb is by far the most amazing professor! She throughly goes over the topic she is teaching and she will pretty much give you the answers for the tests if you pay attention and attend her classes. She wants you to pass and will help you in anyway if you're struggling with anything. She grades test on a class curve!

Deb is simply an AMAZING instructor and person!! She is the sweetest, most helpful, caring and genuine teacher I have ever had. I have taken several classes with her and next term I made sure I got all my classes with her. She gives you every tool to pass, honestly I don't see how anyone could fail a class with her. TAKE HER CLASS!! :) THE BEST!

Deb is an amazing teacher! She is very clear and helpful. Every student should pass. She never uses a textbook. She tells you EXACTLY what will be on all of her tests. Make sure you take notes exactly the way she tells you. Then you will go through the notes and she will tell you what to highlight and know for tests. Sweetest teacher ever.

Deb is so helpful. There is no reason for a single student not to pass. She's always available to ask for clarification or help although I never found I needed clarification. She doesn't use a book. Notes taken in class are parts of many books that she has compiled to help get the best all around view of the material. I've taken 3 classes so far.

Deb is THE BEST teacher I have ever had! I learned so much from her. She makes sure you understand the material and goes over anything you need. She is not a hard grader. All you have to do is show up for class, pay attention, and take notes. Her test consists of all notes taken in class. I can't say enough about her; she's incomparable!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantastic teacher!No text books but she does NOT need them. She knows what she is talking about, she is very fair, and she is willing to help you if you have problems. Conservative but doesn't push views on students & I HIGHLY respect Deb as a teacher. She makes an honest effort to know each student individually! Taking 3 of her classes next term!

Hands Down best instructor at Chemeketa! She does the best job when it comes to teaching. No textbook because she teaches based on her personal experiences. Many say she grades hard and that is because she wants to know that you know the material, my opinion she is a fair grader, and an awesome instructor! TAKE HER CLASSES!!!!!

I have been asked to compare her to other teachers in the same field and my comment is always.."If you want to really think, and feel like youv'e learned something usefull, take Deb's class." I took her class last spring and she made it very interesting. She is very knowledgeable and did a good job at teaching many aspects of a broad subject in one term. It's a little hard to study for her tests though.
