I was employed by Declan for 5 years! So in a way I am a student of his. Declan is not vanilla. He has the guts to do "it" his way. He was the most generous, inspiring employer I've ever had the pleasure to working for. You should consider yourself lucky to have him as a teacher. ... pull the ear buds out and learn. GM

Comes across as a bit brusque and unfriendly at first but gradually eases up. Could ease up a bit more though. Very clear with expectations and criticism. Obviously knows what he's talking about. Very helpful with assignments!

can't really say anything stood out about him, except the yello nails and weird smell. He didn't really teach anything we already didn't know about type. Laying out a novel took forever, yet I've seen novels out in the real world that look way worse than what I did, so they can't alway be perfect.
