Prof. Pool is amazing. She's the best teacher I've ever had on top of the fact that she is such a sweet woman. She's also a great advisor, and she's ALWAYS available to her students. It's a shame she is retiring. The education department is pretty much doomed.

Such an awesome prof! Her directions are very clear, assignments are NEVER ridiculous, and she'll always help, just ask. Also great outside of class for advising, etc. Participate and do the readings and she'll love you.

Excellent professor. As mentioned in a previous post, she really does practice what she preaches, and loves it. If you have her for Ed Psych, watch out for the assessment unit. She gets pretty psyched. She always makes time to meet outside of class, and though amazingly disorganized, she's always accessible, friendly, and helpful.

Prof Poole is one of the few education professors that actually practices what she preaches! Her classes were always examples of all the pedagogy she thought we should use-unlike most professors, who lecture at you about how you shouldn't lecture!

I can honestly say she was the WORST TEACHER I'VE EVER HAD. She makes my skin crawl. The most annoying human being I've ever encountered. It feels like nails on a chalkboard when she speaks. Her presence depresses me.

She is so personable and funny. She keeps you engaged in class with tons of different and fun activities and is constantly putting you in different groups for class group work and discussion, so you really get to know your peers as well. I love this class and I can't imagine anyone else teaching it!

Lots of energy, which is good for a teacher, but can get annoying day after day. Easy enough to get a good grade as long as you do all your work. Watch her grading system though, it's based on points, so I had a 93.25 average & still got an A- because an A in this class is a 94.5 and above...

Professor Pool really cares about her students. If I ever had a question or a problem she always made herself available. She's easy to understand and really tries to make the class an experience more so than anything else.
