By far my favorite teacher in my first semester at UNI. She makes class very enjoyable and keeps you awake, and alert. This was the one class i actually enjoyed going to. The workload is fair. It is a writing and speaking class, so you have a bit of reading, and quite a bit of writing. If you put in the effort you will be satisfied! Take her

deedee rules! my favorite professor so far. she can be a little absent minded, but it doesn't affect her teaching at all. she really cares about her students and is extremely easy to talk to. she's hilarious, and her little life lessons are awesome.

she's easy to talk to and is really interested in what you think about any topic. laid back class. has a lot of knowledge about Africa since she's been there many times and has some great stories to share! you read about 5 books and only have two exams the entire semester(no final). the assignments(about one every week) are pretty easy.

A very disorganized prof, and she is laid back. Not enough time for 5 essays in one test,test are usally vague and you don't get feedback until almost the end of the semester. she likes to give last minute paper assignemnts, so be prepared. If you like to attend short classes, she always leaves early!

Perhaps she is good for ungrads, but as a graduate level professor she leaves a lot to be desired. She might be friendly and laid back, but she is disorganized. Her tests are long and vague, but not hard. She gives long assignments, and very little feedback. You have no idea where your grade is. Also, she cancels class often.

She seemed nice. But her French is curious. I had a hard time understanding her even though I can understand Cajun, Quebecois, West African pronunciations in addition to European French. Dubois often had to paraphrase for me.

She was wierd and ended every word with -ah, which got old very quick. She is also a feminist, so guys be on the look out because she has it in for you and girls, if you don't consider yourself a feminist, be prepared to defend you choice.
