Comment:

Dr. Dobie is a great professor. Med term in general is a lot, but the way she sets it up doesn't help. As long as you read the material and look over it before exams you will do fine in the class. She cares a lot about her students and takes her time to get to know you. She is a really great professor. I would recommend her for classes.

Dr. Dobie is great. She is so smart and is so excited to share what she knows. Her exams are a little bit hard, but if you show up to class and look over the study guide they really aren't bad. She makes coming to class enjoyable. Take any class with her. She says you need the book, but you don't. One group project that isn't too hard. She is great

Dr. Dobie is absolutely my new favorite professor. She makes class SO entertaining. I might be biased since Intro to Community Health is in my major, but she makes all the content so interesting. I wish this was more than a one credit class so I could go more often. Had three tests, one final project, and a few smaller assignments. Would recommend.

I took this class in the summer as a four week mini course, and it was a great choice. The class is set up in such a great and easy way. Lots of discussions, and several papers. Great content and activities. She gives awesome feedback and is very educated in Public Health. Definately recommend if looking for a summer class.

I really enjoyed taking Professor Dobie. She is so hilarious and her energy level is through the roof! I absolutely loved her as a professor and would love to take her again. Her assignments are not hard and her exam was pretty easy as well. Do your work and it's an easy A.

This is the second class I have taken with Professor Roberts-Dobie. She always explains everything and if you don't understand she will know and go over again. Gives multiple assignments for easy points. A lot of outside work with groups but that's to be expected. Great professor!

If you are looking for an easy A you will not find it here. You have to do work, and take tests you have to study for but if you do the work you will do good. She has high expectations because she knows we are capable. There is no extra credit, you learn a lot. She really cares about her students and will do anything she can to help.

Knows a lot about Public Health almost too much. She feeds you with a lot of facts about health, but classes are pretty interesting. You do community service, news articles, and discussions all for easy points. Her tests are pretty hard. Thing's she says in class that aren't on slides are all on the test. Easy to get an A if you pay attention.

I couldn't stand her voice really. But she always was unclear on grading (syllabus said tests were 25 pts, elearning said 110 pts) Like the class but way to much work for a one credit but it's not hard just a lot of it. Tests and project are easy though

I really enjoyed taking into. to public health with her. She really knows what she is talking about, and makes her expectations clear. She requires a 15 hour volunteer project, and a research paper which is a lot for a 1 credit hour course. However, I did learn a lot, and enjoyed going to class!

Would think twice about taking this professor. Extremely unfriendly and cold?? To put it lightly. She seems very sheltered from anything going on outside her world, Very dry sense of humor and get ready to work your tail off! Dont take her class if you dont have too.
